The 2min waiting periods in between certain Bowen moves allows your body to relax so that the treatment can take effect on the targeted areas. These waiting periods can also aid in drawing attention to other areas of the body that may need treatment as well.

Bowen Therapy works on the fascia in the body, and in order to have healthy fascia it is important to be hydrated. Drinking the recommended daily amount of water will help you feel better during and after a Bowen session.

No oil is used during a Bowen treatment - the moves are rolling moves with firm steady pressure applied over the skin across targeted areas of the body.
